Configuring project users involves a series of steps from:
Step 1: Creating a space
Step 2: Adding users in the space
Step 3: Creating project groups
Step 4: Specifying Module Access and Configuring permissions within groups
Step 5: Linking Groups to a Space
Onboard users participating in a project within the project "Space".
You can create as many spaces independent to each vendor and monitor these spaces during project execution.
Navigate to Project setting and select the space you want to add user(s) to.
Access Project Space
To directly create a user within a specific space:
Click the Create button from the Project Space list page and enter the relevant details such as Name, and Description, and click the Add New button.

Now, click the Create User button from the Add/Invite User pop-up and enter the First name, Last name, Email address, and Company to which the user belongs and Save your settings.
Note that email that you enter will be registered as the Username in exto and the default password set to first four characters of the username followed by 123.

The created user is now onboarded into the Project space and displays in Space page, Users list view.

Click the Add New button on the Space page, search by keying in the name and invite to join the project.
Invite Users into Space
You can specify extra privileges(Power User) to the project participant to reset password or deactivate users during project execution.
On the Space page, from the Admin field, select the user to who you want to grant the privilege and save.
PME users can create different groups at project-level as per business need and define what users can access and do within the project group.
Navigate to Project setting and select the Group you want to create and add user(s) to OR create a new group and add users to it.
Also define permissions to access the standard modules, custom modules, and configuration.

You can specify users to a project space using one of the approaches:
Approach 1: Add users directly within the space.
Approach 2: Create a Group with users and link this group to a space

PME can also deactivate a user instead of removing them from the project. The username remains in the system in an inactive state.
From the Space Users List View, click the Deactivate button that appears beside the "Active" status label for the relevant user and provide your confirmation in the message that appears next.
The Status of the user changes from Active to Inactive.

Select the relevant user from the list by clicking the checkbox. Delete button displays. Next, click the Delete button and provide your confirmation in the message that appears next.

Click on the Activate button corresponding to the relevant user to restore the status of the user to Active.

PME can reset the password for users who've forgotten the password from the Space Users List View.
Click the Reset Password button that appears beside the Group name and provide your confirmation in the message that appears next.
Q. When I try to search and invite a user into the project, the email id of the user does not appear in the drop-down list?
A. Email id displays in the drop-down list only if it has been provided during user creation. If not, then provide the email id for the user, save, and return to check in the drop-down.
