Q. What if Exto refuses to authenticate user with OTP code?
A. Each code is valid for about 30 seconds only. If the user dosen't enter the code quickly, a new code has to get generated. Users need to request the administrator to resend the OTP. If the problem continues, please contact Support.
Q. Which users will be allowed to log into Exto?
A. Only users who have enrolled for Multi-factor authentication will be allowed to sign-in to the system. The site administrator needs to enable MFA for these users.
Q. How do I get MFA enabled for my users?
A. As of now, enable by sending a request.
Q. How do I create my own error message?
A. Contact your site administrator to configure the fields for which you want to see the error message.
Q. Can I Create an Error Message for Any Field with Data Validation?
A. Yes, you can add a custom input message that will show up when the user enters invalid data.
Q. How many conditions can I create for a Field?
A. You can create as many in Form validations by clicking the Add new button and specifying the condition.
Q. What is Module Numbering?
A. A default numbering sets in for every module that is created in exto. You are allowed to customize and create a record numbering sequence in a module as per your business needs.
Q. Will creating a new module impact the record numbering in existing modules?
A. Whenever you create a new module, a unique record number is automatically assigned to it.
The numbering is applied only to the newly created modules and not for any existing modules that's modified.
Q. How do I modify the module numbering?
A. After saving the module sequence number, the system will not allow you to change it any further.
Q. Where does the module numbering reflect?
A. The numbering sequence is updated in the log page view of the module.
Q. Can I change the module numbering to a lower value?
